
Postnatal Yoga
Your body has undergone one of the greatest transformations of its life. Every part of the body is impacted through pregnancy and there is very little opportunity to realign as the baby becomes your new centre of gravity. Time is precious and so are you. Specialised post natal yoga classes focus on essentially bringing you back together, gently reactivating core strength and supporting the pelvic floor. Classes focus on alleviating pressure and tension in the ‘mothering muscles’ - shoulders and neck, pelvis and lower back to give you the strength you need for everyday life. Suitable from 8 weeks postpartum.

Why postnatal yoga?
Postnatal yoga was a space for me to truly exhale, stretch my aching muscles and find a sense of centre amidst the swirl of early motherhood. I found classes deeply supportive, reassuring and calming, allowing me to return to my baby with renewed energy. I believe all women should have access to better postnatal care and these classes aim to create space for new mums to focus on their own recovery.
